Like I'm always saying, there's a population of 6 billion. And out of an inconceivably high number like that, there should be at least a few thousand people who have the mentality to appreciate the kind of comics I do. Unfortunately, I can't find those few thousand people. Can anyone help me find them?

Re: Still need an audience
Mon, July 11, 2005 - 10:01 AMYul! Do you send any of your stuff to Europe? There are all these little anthologies in France and Macedonia and other places. Seems to me, Esperanto comics should have cross-national appeal, yes? And it seems like you also have things to say politically that might find an audience there. -

Re: Still need an audience
Mon, July 11, 2005 - 7:01 PMHave you tried submitting strips to alternative weekly newspapers, like the Village Voice or your area's equivalent? It seems like your stuff might do better in that format than the superhero crammed world of regular comics. -

Re: Still need an audience
Tue, July 12, 2005 - 4:17 PMAre you kidding? The competition for papers like The Village Voice (or the equivalents out here) is staggering. There are about 120 such papers in the US (they're in an association called the AAN) and all kinds of artists competing for spots. Especially in the Bay Area, a haven for alternative comics folks.
