I can't afford to go... being on the other coast and all. But the Big Apple Con has a really good artist's alley that I hope to be in.

that's on the first weekend of April - the 2nd and the 3rd.

I think I'll have the POD editions of the first 2 issues of my comic (www.bestfriendsproductions.com/hib ) by then, and a small chance of #3 being ready too.

Okay, seeing as it is not the same weekend - if anyone wants to sponsor me and/or Ed Meares - we'll put an advertisement or notice in the POD issues for you for something you're working on.

I don't have the "regular" ad rate card made up yet, I'm doing the finishing touches on prepping the digital files for issue #1 to go to the POD printer.

I might have a table (or part of one). A true crime anthology I'm a part of (still in the works) should be out by then. Not sure what it will be called, but if you see me, stop by and say hello. :)

I'm going to be out there as well. I just published a cartoon humor magazine full of cartoons, comic strips, single page panel gags, ad parodies and more. Some of the contributors include Jay Lynch, Art Bouthillier (Saturday Evening Post, Hustler), Bruce Bolinger (Rip-Off Press, Cracked) King Features syndicated cartoonist Randy Glasbergen and on and on. There are over twenty-five contributors to the first issue. You can get a sneak peek at www.jokestermag.com.

It's my first time doing any of this, publishing, attending a con even my first time in California!!! I'm looking forward to it :-)
